With folks raising a stink over The Nightingale and the peculiar lack of Asians in its cast, I got this super-weird photo passed along to me, and I had to share.
That's Mick Jagger as The Emperor of Cathay in Faerie Tale Theatre's presentation of The Nightingale, circa 1983. I doubt that anyone in the La Jolla Playhouse version looks this grotesque, but you never know. The old episode is available on DVD, if you're curious. (Thanks, Hane.)
