Passing along this update about continued efforts to pursue justice for Pvt. Danny Chen... October 3 marks the one year anniversary of this death. Coincidentally, Sgt. Andrew Van Bockel, one of the eight men charged in connection with Chen's death will face court martial that week.If you're in New York, OCA-NY is organizing a van trip down to Fort Bragg, North Carolina to attend the court martial. They'll be holding a meeting next week to share plans to commemorate the one-year anniversary of Pvt. Chen's death. Here's some more information:
First, we want to thank you for your support in seeking justice for Private Danny Chen. October 3rd marks the one year anniversary of Private Danny Chen's death. Coincidentally, Sgt. Andrew Van Bockel, the "ring" superior who directed or threatened junior superiors to haze Danny will face court martial from October 1-5. OCA-NY will be providing a free van from NY City to Fort Bragg, North Carolina for persons interested in attending this court martial.Spread the word. Justice for Danny Chen!
