Ugh. News out of New York, where a Brooklyn man was busted by police earlier this month for operating a sex ring involving a "stable of Asian prostitutes": Brooklyn man busted for running brothels in Wall Street district.
42-year-old William Thomas is accused of running brothels out of a commercial building in the Financial District and apartments in Hell's Kitchen and midtown, advertising services on the websites E4AKorea.com ("Your Midtown Korean Experience") and E4ANY.com:
Prosecutors said cops brought down the sex ring earlier this month in an undercover sting. The girls in the apartments were reportedly known for hogging the laundry room -- they were washing sheets all the time! I could see how that could be annoying to neighbors. That, and you know, the prostitution.
A detective posing as a john arranged an Oct. 11 meeting with Thomas, who allegedly directed him to the E. 50th St. love pad. When the detective got to the address, he was greeted by a comely Korean woman who introduced herself as “Olivia” and told him he could kiss her but had to wear a condom during sex, authorities said.
In his online ads, Thomas allegedly lured customers offering the “girlfriend experience” or “GFE” — a reference to sex without a condom. “GFE’s do multipop on an hour-rate basis,” websites touted, suggesting hookers would have sex multiple times.
Most of the women charged $260 per hour or $200 for 30 minutes. More economical clients could opt for a “happy ending” massage special for $100 plus $40 tip.
Thomas the Pimp was arrested earlier this month and charged with promoting prostitution. More here: William Thomas, Alleged Sex Ring Leader, Arrested For Running Four Brothels In New York City.
