Do you have what it takes to be the next Kollaboration Star? Kollaboration is constantly on the lookout for the nation's top performers, hidden talents and undiscovered superstars. If you're in New York, and you want to show the world what you've got, Kollaboration New York is currently accepting audition applications for performers of all mediums (song, dance, spoken word, etc). Here are some more details:
NY SHOW 1ST PLACE PRIZE: $1000The audition submission deadline is April 30. The Kollaboration New York show will take place in September, when you might have a chance to secure a spot at the Kollaboration Finale Show in Los Angeles for a $20,000 grand prize. TWO ROUNDS OF AUDITIONS:
1 | Online Submission (Deadline: April 30, 2013 at 11:59 p.m. EST)
Any interested parties are encouraged to submit an application (www.kollaborationnewyork.org/audition) with a video link (of the highest quality possible, and no longer than 5 minutes) of the talent you wish to showcase. Only online submissions will be accepted. The video can be of a past performance or a home recording. Notification for Live Auditions will be made by May 3, 2013 if chosen.
2 | Live Auditions by invitation only (Applicants will be notified by May 4, 2013)
Applicants selected by the Kollaboration New York staff will be asked back for a live audition to vie for a coveted spot as a finalist in the September showcase, and will be notified via e-mail by May 4, 2013 if they have been chosen for a live audition. Details will be provided upon selection.
If chosen for the Live Auditions, all members of your group must be available (tentatively May 18-19, 2013) to be considered for the show.
Kollaboration NY 8 will be held in September 2013. Past performers include John Quiwa, Wanted Ashiqz, Paper Doll, Mitchell Grey, and more. Performers of all background and experience levels are welcome.
