The guy who lost his winning million dollar lottery ticket

Mechanic didn't realize he had won until he saw himself on the news.

Damn. Meet the guy who lost a million bucks. In Southern California, a man who bought a winning lottery ticket was unable to claim his $1 million Powerball prize because he couldn't find the friggin' ticket.

Man Who Says He Couldn't Find His Winning $1M Powerball Ticket Tells His Story

Hung Nguyen, a mechanic at an El Monte repair shop, bought the ticket six months ago. His winning ticket, worth $1,098,624, matched all the numbers except the Powerball number. However, he didn't realize he had won until months after the drawing, when he returned from a trip to Vietnam and saw himself on the news.

Jeremy Lin is out for two weeks with a knee injury

Rockets guard sidelined with grade-1 sprain and constusion in his right knee

Awww nooo. Jeremy Lin is out with an injury just the latest player on the Rockets roster to go down in a health-plagued season for the team: Lin knee sprain latest in season-long run of injuries to Rockets backcourt

Jeremy will sit out at least two weeks with a grade-1 sprain and contusion in his right knee, which he sustained when he collided with forward Paul Millsap in the first quarter of Wednesday's game against the Atlanta Hawks. His knee will be re-evaluated in two weeks to see if he can return to action. Fingers crossed.

Jeremy, who has played in 98 consecutive games -- the longest active streak on the team -- has had an excellent start of the season for Houston, averaging 15.3 points and 4.5 assists in 16 games this season. I think most observers would agree he was really finding his groove, so this is an unfortunate setback.

Wishing Jeremy a speedy recovery!

Man clings to hood of moving car to stop hit-and-run

No, this is not a death-defying stunt from the latest Fast & Furious movie. This is real life, and that's a man trying to stop a driver from fleeing the scene of a hit-and-run accident... by hanging the hell on to the hood of her moving car: Video shows man clinging to car after hit-and-run.

This is the wild ride of Elton Kim of Roswell, Georgia. He took matters into his own hands when a woman backed into his wife's car in the parking of lot of their dry cleaning business, then tried to speed off. The woman drove for two miles with Kim clinging to her car, and the incident was caught on video by a passing driver:

Sabatino Chen robbed of tie-breaking buzzer beater

Robbed! In this video, University of Colorado guard Sabatino Chen launches an awesome tie-breaking three-point buzzer beater in what looked like a last-second victory over the undefeated Arizona Wildcats. The replays seemed to confirm it. The referees, however, saw differently, and ruled that regulation time had expired. Watch and decide for yourself:
