Michael and Carissa Rae Alvarado have amassed a fan following and made a name for themselves by creating short-but-sweet, wildly popular and incredibly adorable 6-second covers on their Vine account. And now they've landed themselves a record deal.

Us already had a decent-sized following on their YouTube channel. But when Michael and Carissa started recording and uploading their playfully mysterious six-second covers to their Vine late last year, of everything from Katy Perry to John Legend, it got them some serious love -- including the attention of major record labels.
The duo has signed a deal with Republic Records:
