volunteer for the 2010 sfiaaff

This is for all my people in the Bay Area, far and wide. My friends at the Center for Asian American Media are calling on cool, able-bodied folks like you to volunteer for the 28th Annual San Francisco International Asian American Film Festival, happening March 11-21. Check it out:
VOLUNTEER FOR US!

You know you want to. 300 volunteers every March. Over 2500 total hours.

Be a part of the nation's largest showcase for new Asian American and Asian films! SFIAAFF volunteers help make it happen, from the box office to galas and receptions, ticket taking and driving festival guests.

Volunteer benefits include:
- Vouchers for festival screenings
- Meeting film industry professionals and fellow film enthusiasts
- Official Festival T-shirt
- Volunteer Appreciation Party at Hotel Tomo

We need volunteers who:
- Can commit to a minimum of three shifts over the course of the festival
(approximately 12 hours)
- Can attend Volunteer Orientations (snacks, short film sneak peek, surprising
games, and your 2010 SFIAAFF Volunteer How-To's)

Register online! -> WWW.SHIFTBOARD.COM/CAAM

SFIAFF is one of the biggest and best festivals for showcasing Asian American cinema, but it cannot happen without the strength of its volunteer force. That's you! And it's a great way to meet folks and get plugged into what's happening in 'the scene.'
