5th annual talent 1 media film festival


If you're in Los Angeles, here's some information about an important event happening this weekend: the 5th Annual Talent 1 Media Film Festival, seeking to raise awareness of human trafficking issues and support independent filmmakers. It's happening June 18-19 at the Aratani Japan America Theater in Little Tokyo. Here's some more information:

Talent 1 Media is proud to present the 5th Annual Talent 1 Media Film Festival!

The 2-day event is set to begin at 6:00pm on Friday, June 18th, 2010 at the Aratani Japan America Theatre in Little Tokyo, in Downtown Los Angeles, CA. The event will be FREE and open to the entire public.

This special 2-day event will premiere 15-20 original short films, feature live outdoor music, and will also feature an Awareness Resource area for partnering organizations. Film goers will not only enjoy Free admission for the festival, but they’ll have the opportunity to find out more about local and global initiatives to fight and end modern day slavery.
