K.W. Lee is a true pioneer, and considered the godfather of Asian American journalism. At age 82, his illustrious career as a writer and civil rights activist has profoundly shaped the consciousness of the Korean American community. Founded in 2003, the KW Lee Center for Leadership in Los Angeles is a nonprofit organization dedicated to continuing his passionate legacy.

This Friday, you are invited to the Center's 5th Annual Dinner & Silent Auction, as they celebrate community leaders and raise funds for future programs. It's happening June 4 at the Oxford Palace Hotel. Here are some more details:
