Some racist asshole in Hayden, Idaho decided to celebrate the season and brighten up his neighborhood by making a KKK-inspired snowman in his front yard, complete with hood and noose: KKK snowman.
The homeowner who had the offensive snow sculpture in front of his home is Mark, who was profiled by KXLY back in July when he posted flags ranging from an Aryan Nations flag to an SS flag at his home, drawing the ire of his neighbors. Then in October he angered residents further when, according to neighbors, he passed out bullets on Halloween. Mark refuted his neighbors claims, saying he didn't actually pass out bullets, but rather he passed out bullet casings, and only did so after he ran out of candy.More here: KKK Snowman Spreads Holiday Hate In Hayden. The KXLY article says "Mark" declined to give his last name, but this Washington Post article says his name is Mark Eliseuson. F#@$ this Aryan Nation asshole, and his racist snowman.
A self-described white separatist, Mark, who declined to give his last name during an interview in July, said Wednesday there was nothing wrong with his snowman.
After being notified by authorities that he could be charged with a "creating a public nuisance" because the snowman was holding a noose, Eliseuson apparently removed the snowman's head. But if the SnowKlanMan is erected again, I encourage anyone who lives in or around Hayden to turn him into a yellow snowman. You know what I'm talking about.
