aaja men of broadcast calendar

The Asian American Journalists Association has come up with a pretty interesting way of raising cash: AAJA Men of Broadcast Calendar. Basically, you get to vote for your favorite Asian American male reporters in television and radio. The top 12 vote getters will grace the pages of the 2012 AAJA Men of Broadcast calendar. Yup, twelve months of Asian Male Journalist Hotness.

But don't worry -- there's no swimsuit edition. Yet.

Each vote will cost you $1. So choose wisely. Or blow all your money on sending your favorite to the top! You can vote for as many men as many times as you wish. All of the money raised from your votes and upcoming calendar purchases will fund AAJA programs. Voting ends April 10.

Cast your vote here. AAJA membership is not required.

As I write this, Toan Lam, George Kiriyama and Brian Tong are currently holding the top three spots. Personally, I'm leaning towards voting for my old college buddy Owen Lei, reporter for KING-TV in Seattle. But I won't lie -- I might cast my vote for that dreamy David Ono, who surprisingly hasn't cracked the top ten. No love for the Ono?
