This week, Warner Bros. Digital Distribution released the first episode of the new digital series Mortal Kombat: Legacy online, directedy b Kevin Tancharoen and starring Jeri Ryan as Sonya Blade, Michael Jai White as Jax, Darren Shahlavi as Kano and Ian Anthony Dale as Scorpion. Here's episode one (note: if this was a theatrical feature, it would probably be rated R for violence and language):
As you can see, it's a pretty hefty project with a solid budget and some great production values. The series is anthology of nine shorts delving into each character's participation in the Mortal Kombat tournament. You can watch subsequent episode as they're released on Machinima's YouTube channel
