The untitled film, directed by Walter Hill and based on the crime noir graphic novel Bullet to the Head, follows a New Orleans hitman and a New York City cop who team up to take down the killers of their respective partners. It says Stallone is starring as the hitman, but there's no indication if Sung is the cop:
Sung Kang's feature career is hitting a new gear, as the "Fast Five" star has landed a key supporting role alongside Sylvester Stallone in Walter Hill's upcoming action thriller, Variety's Jeff Sneider exclusively reports. The untitled film follows a New Orleans hitman (Stallone) and a Gotham cop who team up to take down the killers of their respective partners. Production is scheduled to start later this month in Louisiana.Outside of the "Fast and Furious" franchise, Kang has appeared in the Silver-produced "Ninja Assassin" and 20th Century Fox's "Live Free or Die Hard," as well as the indie "The Motel."Nice, Sung. Going from making out with the hottest gal in Fast Five -- seriously, he was the smoothest dude in that movie -- to hanging out with Rocky Balboa/John Rambo himself. That's gotta be fun.
