angry reader of the week: ali wong

Heeeyyyyy! Gather round. I would like you to meet the Angry Reader of the Week, spotlighting you, the very special readers of this website. Over the years, I've been able to connect with a lot of cool folks, and this is a way of showing some appreciation and attention to the people who help make this blog what it is. This week's Angry Reader is comedian Ali Wong, who will be performing at Carolines in New York on October 7-8.

Who are you?
Ali Wong.

What are you?
I'm half-Chinese and half-Vietnamese, so I'm half fancy Asian and half Jungle Asian.

Where are you?
Right now I'm freezing in San Francisco. Living in Los Angeles has made me a p*ssy. But this weekend I'm headed to NYC to headline 4 shows at Caroline's on Broadway.

Where are you from?
San Francisco. 38 Geary whuuuut!

What do you do?
I'm a stand-up comedian, and play "Olivia" on the new NBC sitcom Are You There Chelsea? based on Chelsea Handler's memoir. We just finished taping our third episode and it will air in January.

What are you all about?
Avoiding dairy, taking care of my friends and family, Costco, my Vitamix, Friday Night Lights, People magazine, farmers markets, my Dood, sushi, hiking, laughing, Vietnam, deal hunting and Chinese fried chicken.

What makes you angry?
Body hair, my mustache and dieting...I basically resent all the shit women have to do, to keep fuckable.
