goh nakamura's music featured in ...a drug commercial?

Say it ain't so, Goh! I can't believe it, but from the looks of it, our good pal singer/songwriter Goh Nakamura has sold out! That's his song "Daylight Savings" prominently featured in a national commercial for the anti-depressant drug Relatrix. Whaaaaat. Check it out:

But wait! This is not a real commercial. So get this. Goh Nakamura reprises his role as the fictional Goh Nakamura in Daylight Savings, the pseudo-sequel to Surrogate Valentine. In the movie, Goh's song is featured in a drug commercial (which subsequently bums him out, feeling like a sellout for most of the movie).

Daylight Savings, directed by David Boyle and starring Goh Nakamura, will make its world premiere this week at South By Southwest. The film will also screen next weekend at the San Francisco International Asian American Film Festival. And for more information about Surrogate Valentine, go here.
