filipino vodka is here

Awww yeah. A new kind of party drink is here: VuQo, coming straight from the Philippines. The Filipino coconut vodka -- made from lambanog, a fermented coconut moonshine -- had its U.S. launch last week: Among the VuQopolitans: Turning Filipino Moonshine Into Premium Vodka.

Lambanog is a potent moonshine favored in certain drinking circles in the Philippine provinces. I'm told it tastes, in its purest form, like ass. So VuQo is sort of the classier, sexier, coconut vodka version, without the funk.
