Well folks, G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra opens in theaters everywhere today. I don't know about you, but I think movie sort of looks like a large, loud and expensive pile of garbage. I've been saying that since I saw the first bit of footage that surfaced, and not much has helped change that.
I don't know what it is... something about this movie looks like a stinker. Yet, as a huge fan of the old cartoon/toy/comic book, I am required to go see the movie (eventually). Don't get me wrong -- I'd love to go into the theater and walk out pleasantly surprised. Maybe I'm just managing my expectations.
Anyway, as I've mentioned here many times before, South Korean star Lee Byun-hun makes his English-language debut as Cobra ninja Storm Shadow. My guess is, his character is going to be either extremely badass or extremely silly. We shall see.
