Check it out... Our friends at Visual Communications are putting together VC Super-Collider! a special video mash-up that will premiere later this month as part of Tuesday Night's Project's 11th anniversary TN Party. And they're looking for your original 60-second videos to make the whole thing happen. Here are some more details on what they're trying to create:
VC BUILDING A SUPER-COLLIDER!
Visual Communications Invites 60-second Video Mash-Up for TN PARTY July 31

Visual Communications, the nation’s premier Asian Pacific American media arts organization, is seeking original 60-second videos to assemble into a two-hour visual extravaganza entitled VC SUPER-COLLDER!, as part of the Tuesday Night Project’s 11th Anniversary TN PARTY on Saturday, July 31, 2010, on the Japanese American Cultural & Community Center’s Noguchi Plaza.

VC SUPER-COLLIDER!, imagined as an approximately two-hour-long video "mash-up," will comprise moving imagery to accompany an evening of mixology by celebrity deejays including DJ Pomade, DJ WaxStyles, DJ Ant, and longtime Tuesday Night Project house deejay +he Op+imis+. As a longtime supporter of the Tuesday Night Project (organizers of the twice-monthly Tuesday Night at the Cafe in Los Angeles Little Tokyo), Visual Communications leapt at the opportunity to contribute a unique visual identity for this special evening, in collaboration with as many filmmakers, media artists, and celebrity moviemakers as possible.

Stated Abraham Ferrer, Visual Communications’ Exhibitions Director and curator of the project, "VC SUPER-COLLIDER! will not be just a meeting of sound and vision, but capable of filling up any 'black hole' of kewl in all of Los Angeles Little Tokyo.
Sixty seconds! It can be as impressionistic as you want. If you're interested in participating, check out the guidelines over on VC's website here. And for more information about the TN Party (have you bought your tickets yet?) go to the Tuesday Night Project website here.
