Lakers fan realizes the Lakers suck, becomes Warriors fan mid-game

Cameras catch fan switching jerseys during Lakers' blowout loss to Golden State.

Geez. Could this be the ultimate bandwagon fan?

On Tuesday, the defending-champion Golden State Warriors were in Los Angeles to hand the Lakers a 109-88 defeat at the Staples Center. Considering the current state of both teams, this outcome wasn't a big surprise.

But check out this guy. During Tuesday night's broadcast of the game, as it became clear that the Lakers were losing in a blowout, the camera caught one basketball fan in the act of switching allegiances. He is seen pulling out a Golden State jersey to wear over his Lakers jersey.

Somebody watching, of course, clipped it and posted the video on social media:

Lakers start first-ever Asian American backcourt

Jeremy Lin and Jordan Clarkson share a neat moment of NBA history.

In case you missed it, this week, the Los Angeles Lakers made a neat little bit of Asian American sports history. Jordan Clarkson and Jeremy Lin became the first-ever Asian American starting backcourt in the NBA.

Lakers start first Asian-American backcourt

On Tuesday night, the Lakers started Jeremy Lin and Jordan Clarkson, who is biracial -- his father is African American and his mother is Filipino -- at the guard spots for their game against the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Jeremy commemorated the historic moment by posting a photo of himself and his teammate on Instagram:

Jeremy Lin drops season-high 29 points on the 76ers

And meet the fans who invited Jeremy -- via hand-made sign -- to their wedding.

Another big night for Jeremy Lin! During Sunday night's game against Philadelphia, your favorite Asian American point guard scored a season-high 29 points, helping the Lakers beat the 76ers, 101-87.

Jeremy Lin's season-high 29 points help Lakers beat 76ers

Okay, so never mind that it was a matchup between two of the NBA's worst teams. Jeremy threw down an impact performance worth talking about, scoring 29 points with five rebounds and five assists in 28 minutes.

With fourteen games left in a crushingly disappointing season, and free agency looming, I'd say this was a good time for Jeremy to make a statement. Like this niiiice no-look dish to Wesley Johnson for the dunk:

Jeremy Lin drops 25 points on the Boston Celtics

Jeremy came off the bench to lead the Lakers to a 118-111 victory in overtime.

While I was watching the stunningly bad, super white Oscars show last night, I should have changed channels to see Jeremy Lin turn in an awesome performance to help the Lakers beat the Celtics in an overtime victory.

Lakers stop 7-game losing streak with OT win over Celtics

Jeremy came off the bench to score a season-high 25 points, with 6 assists, to lead Los Angeles to a 118-111 overtime victory against their old rivals from Boston, snapping a seven-game losing streak.

Here's a fun video with Jeremy's game highlights from Sunday night:

Jeremy Lin wears "I Can't Breathe" shirt

Joins teammates in gesture of protest against police brutality.

The Los Angeles Lakers have joined the growing number of athletes protesting the deaths of unarmed black people at the hands of law enforcement. Nearly all the players on the team, including Jeremy Lin, wore black shirts with the phrase "I Can't Breathe" -- referring to Eric Garner's dying words at the hands of the NYPD -- during warmups before Tuesday night's game against the Sacramento Kings.

Nearly all Lakers wear 'I Can't Breathe' shirts for warmups vs. Kings

With all but one Laker rocking the shirt, it marks the most complete protest by any one team thus far. Ball Don't Lie's Eric Freeman also notes that Jeremy is the first player who is not black to wear the shirt -- a powerful statement and a significant gesture of support of the movement as "a broader human issue."

Props, Jeremy.

Jeremy Lin can't find the words to talk about the Lakers

We feel you, bro.

This is amusing, awkward... and just kind of sad. If you've been following the thus far lackluster season of the Los Angeles Lakers, you know there hasn't been a whole lot to cheer about. Apparently, Jeremy Lin feels it too. I think this Vine video, clipped from a locker room interview conducted after the Lakers' 136-115 blowout loss to the Golden State Warriors on Sunday night, pretty much sums it up:
