Queens-bred rapper David Lee, aka Rekstizzy, just released this trippy-ass music video for "Hypnotize" from his latest album You Can't Be Serious. It features a lot of swaying bodies and wavy lines. Rekstizzy implores you to "Please watch with your eyes fully open and no blinks for the entirety of the video for best results."

Something new from Rekstizzy... His latest single and music video "You Can't Be Serious" is a weird little contemplative number, and sort of a different change of pace for the New York City emcee. Guest starring Bill O'Reilly, Chris Brown, Justin Bieber, Tom Cruise and Nicholas Cage. Sort of.

Fund This: Bad Rap

Indie documentary explores the stories and struggles of Asian American rappers



Wait... there are Asian American rappers? YES. And somebody is making a documentary about them. Bad Rap is an independent feature documentary about the obstacles and successes of Asian American rappers, their history, and four friends coming up in the game.

Directed and produced by Salima Koroma, the film follows a few emcees you might have heard of: Dumbfoundead, Awkwafina, Rekstizzy and Lyricks, and includes interviews with several accomplished Asian American rap artists. The project is currently in the throes of a crowdfunding campaign to finish the feature.

New York rapper David Lee, aka Rekstizzy, recently visited the West Coast to shoot this freshly dropped music video for his single "One Track Mind," riding that poolside summer vibe and featuring cameos from the likes of Los Angeles icons Dumbfoundead, Roy Choi and more.
