warriors re-assign jeremy lin to d-league. again.

Aw man. Caught this bit of news on Jeremy Lin's Twitter the other day...

Yet another bump in the road for Jeremy Lin, the rookie out of Harvard. Looks like the Golden State Warriors have sent the fan favorite poing guard to the D-League. Again: Warriors Assign Lin To D-League.

After a quick stint with the Reno Bighorns a couple of weeks ago, only to be recalled back to the team just a few days later, the Warriors have re-assigned Lin to their Development League affiliate:
The Golden State Warriors have assigned guard Jeremy Lin to the Reno Bighorns of the NBA Development League, the team announced today. Lin has appeared in 17 games for the Warriors this season, averaging 1.9 points and 1.12 steals in 8.5 minutes per contest. This will mark his second stint with the Bighorns this season. Lin appeared in four games with Reno earlier this season, averaging 18.0 points and 2.8 assists. He was recalled by the Warriors on January 3, but has been on the team's inactive list since his return (last three games).
It's all good, Jeremy. Like I said the last time, this is just latest development in the many ups and downs of his short professional pro career thus far. He's a smart, hard-working guy, and seems to be taking it all in stride. More here: Jeremy Lin reassigned to Reno Bighorns.
