Ki Hong Lee goes full ajumma in Be Funny's 'Seoul Runner'

Korean American actor returns to the motherland in a pama-powered parody of 'Maze Runner'

Maze Runner star Ki Hong Lee recently returned to the motherland and partnered up with Be Funny -- South Korea's answer to Funny or Die -- to reprise his role as Minho alongside Korean pop stars Kangnam and NS-Yoon-G in a comedic pama-powered parody of his hit adventure movie: Seoul Runner.

Fresh from WCKD's grasp, Minho wakes up in yet another strange place; this time in his homeland of Seoul, South Korea. But WCKD is still hot on his trail, so Minho must disguise himself as an 'Ajumma,' a Korean elderly lady. His flashy Ajumma gear will protect him from sun exposure, low blood sugar, and orthopedic strain, but can it protect him from WCKD? "Ajumma is good..."

Watch it here.

See Ki Hong Lee run his ass off again in 'The Scorch Trials'

Ki Hong Lee returns as Minho in 'Maze Runner' sequel, in theaters September 18.

Anybody else really really looking forward to seeing our dude Ki Hong Lee in Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials next month? In the follow-up to The Maze Runner, based on the popular young adult science fiction books, Ki Hong reprises his role as Minho, one of the titular maze runners. I knew nothing about these books, but I went to go see the first movie just hoping I wouldn't see Ki Hong killed off. He ended up being a pretty cool character.

According to the official synopsis, in The Scorch Trials, the Gladers face "their greatest challenge yet: searching for clues about the mysterious and powerful organization known as WCKD. Their journey takes them to the Scorch, a desolate landscape filled with unimaginable obstacles. Teaming up with resistance fighters, the Gladers take on WCKD's vastly superior forces and uncover its shocking plans for them all."

You don't need to know what any of that means. Just know that Ki Hong Lee is pretty badass as Minho.

Ki Hong Lee named one of the "Sexiest Men Alive"

'The Maze Runner' actor makes People magazine's annual "Sexiest" list.

Holy moly. Look who made People magazine's list of "Sexiest Men Alive." While Chris Hemsworth gets the distinction of 2014's superlatively Sexiest cover man, actor Ki Hong Lee finds himself on the annual list of "insanely hot guys" -- the magazine's words, not mine. The Maze Runner star (and former Angry Reader of the Week) seems to have gotten America's attention. With his dimples.

See Ki Hong Lee run his ass off in 'The Maze Runner'

New movie based on the popular young adult sci-fi book series

If you're thinking about heading to the movies this weekend, buy yourself a ticket to The Maze Runner. The movie based on the popular post-apocalyptic young adult sci-fi novel by James Dashner, features our friend (and former Angry Reader of the Week) Ki Hong Lee in various states of look cool and running his ass off.

The Maze Runner is about a group of teenage boys who are dropped into a place known as the Glade, one by one, with no memories of their lives or the outside world. Surrounded by a massive maze, they must figure out the mystery of their predicament to survive. It's fairly typical dystopian teen fiction with a Lord of the Flies twist.

Ki Hong plays character named Minho. It's not only a major role, but he is easily one of the most memorably badass characters in the movie. Also kind of awesome that he has a decidedly Korean name.

Here's a few glimpses of him in the trailer:

It's sort of got a sci-fi action Lord of the Flies vibe. You'll catch a good glimpse of actor (and former Angry Reader of the Week) Ki Hong Lee as Minho, a major character from the books. He does a lot of running in the trailer:
