12-year-old boy trips and punches $1.5 million museum painting

Do you feel anxiety when you're in the vicinity of rare and priceless museum artifacts? You will, after seeing this video. It's like a field trip chaperone's worst nightmare come true. Over the weekend in Taiwan, a young museum-goer accidentally tripped, fell and punched a hole into a $1.5 million oil painting.

On Sunday, while attending "The Face of Leonardo, Images of a Genius" exhibition at at Huashan 1914 Creative Park in Taipei, a 12-year-old boy stumbled on a rope barrier, lost his balance, extended his arms and made contact with an extremely valuable 17th century painting. And by contact, I mean he punched a hole in it. Paolo Porpora's "Roses" now prominently features a fist-sized hole.

The woman who was caught on camera tumbling out of a moving LAPD squad car last year says that a police officer sexually assaulted her while she was handcuffed in the back seat of the vehicle.

28-year-old Kim Nguyen was injured badly in the fall, and filed a lawsuit against the officer, his partner and the Los Angeles Police Department. She had been taken into custody and placed in the back of a patrol car on suspicion of public intoxication. As previously reported, at some point, she was ejected from the car.

In recent sworn testimony, she said that before her fall, an officer climbed into the back seat and sexually assaulted her while the other officer continued driving.

In Los Angeles, a woman has filed a lawsuit against the Los Angeles Police Department after being ejected from a moving patrol car and sustaining critical injuries: Woman sues LAPD after falling out of patrol car.

28-year-old Kim Nguyen, a graduate student at Loyola Marymount University at the time, was out with friends last March when she was taken into custody by LAPD officers David Shin and Jin Oh on suspicion of public intoxication. She was handcuffed, placed in the back of a squad car and driven away.

At some point, Nguyen was ejected from the vehicle while it was moving, suffering serious injuries. A downtown building's surveillance camera captured part of the incident on video. The footage doesn't show Nguyen being ejected, but it shows her bloodied and bruised, lying unconscious on the street and still in handcuffs:
