win all-access passes to the 11th annual toronto reel asian international film festival, november 9-15

Like I've said before, we're in the middle of a really crowded film festival season... But I want to give a heads up to everybody in the Toronto area -- mark your calendars! The Toronto Reel Asian International Film Festival celebrates its 14th year as Canada's longest-running and largest showcase of contemporary cinema by East Asian and Southeast Asian filmmakers. It's happening November 9-15 at venues around the city. I've got free passes! Read on for details...

The festivities get started with the Opening Night Gala presentation of Clement Sze-Kit Cheng and Derek Chi-kin Kwok's Gallants, described as "possibly the most hilarious, nostalgic and ass-kicking movie you will see all year!" That sounds like my kind of movie.

The festival continues with Reel Asian's Centerpiece Presentation of the semi-comedic action thriller Golden Slumber, director Nakamura Yoshihiro's follow-up last year's Reel Asian Audience Award winner Fish Story.

Reel Asian's Closing Night Gala will feature the Toronto premiere of Arvin Chen's award-winning directorial debut Au Revoir Taipei, which has already charmed festival audiences around the world.

All that, plus more than fifty films and videos in between, including international features, Canadian programming, and several shorts programs. Film fans, call your friends and make some plans. Oh, and can I interest you in a free all-access festival pass? Yes, you are interested.

I've partnered up with Toronto Reel Asian International Film Festival to give away a pair of all-access festival passes to one lucky reader. This pass gets you into all the screenings, including Opening and Closing night galas, Industry Series sessions and all the parties. That's a crazy awesome opportunity.

To enter for your chance to win, email contests@reelasian.com with your name, phone number and the subject ANGRY ASIAN MAN. The contest closes on October 27, 2010 at 2:00pm. Good luck!
