matcha: new indian cuisine, october 27

San Francisco people! Friends, it's time for another night out with MATCHA, the Asian Art Museum's monthly after-hours art/music/mixer series. This month: food. Come out and learn a thing or two about modern Indian cuisine. It's happening this Thursday, October 27 at the Asian Art Museum. Once again, you've got the chance to win some free passes. See below for more details:
MATCHA: New Indian Cuisine
Thurs, Oct 27
5-9 pm
$10 (includes entry to Maharaja)
Asian Art Museum

Kick off another MATCHA and our brand spankin' new exhibition MAHARAJA in good taste!

You've seen him on TV, now you can see him at the Asian Art Museum. Top Chef Master Floyd Cardoz will give a demo and discussion on contemporary flavors in Indian cuisine.

Enjoy free food samples from Sukhi Gourmet Indian food, cocktails from cash bars, a new menu at our Cafe Asia, explore MAHARAJA: THE SPLENDOR OF INDIA'S ROYAL COURTS with the curator, go on a docent tour, and enjoy DJ JANAKA SELEKTA (of Dhamaal Sound System fame, and purveyor of classical Indian music blended with electronic beats). All for just $10.
Want to win free tickets to MATCHA? The Asian Art Museum is giving away pair of passes to one lucky, randomly drawn winner. All you have to do is email asianartmuseumsf@gmail.com by Wednesday morning (October 26), with your name and phone number, and the subject line "I wanna see Maharaja and learn about modern Indian cuisine." You'll be contacted if you win.
