Asian American females often face cultural and societal pressures, thus fearing the exploration of all options before choosing a traditional path. Nevertheless, success and confidence can be attained by taking a fearless step forward. The AAWIL conference aims to:
- Provide Asian American women role models
- Explore all facets of leadership, as it relates to Asian American females
- Allow attendees to network, build relationships and spark discussions that extend beyond the conference
- Energize attendees to seek out future leadership opportunities
- Celebrate our achievements and honor the leaders in our community
