Big game over the weekend for Harvard running back Cheng Ho, who ran for 132 yards on 21 carries and scored two touchdowns in the Crimson's 28-14 win over Lehigh on Saturday: Ho Churns Out 132 Yards; Defense Drubs Lehigh, 28-14.
In his first start of the year, Ho scored touchdowns in each half, with 13 carries for 90 yards in the opening half alone. More here: Winters, Ho lead Harvard over Lehigh 28-14. And here's some background on Cheng Ho, who was born in Taiwan: Harvard RB Ho is living a dream.
But wait! In that same game, Harvard linebacker Jon Takamura returned an interception 60 yards for a touchdown. He finished with seven tackles, including 1.5 sacks in addition to his second pick of the year.
Okay, so we're talking about Harvard vs. Lehigh -- not the most exciting match in college football. Still, pretty cool to see Asian Americans playing well and making their mark. (Thanks, David.)
