forget palin's book, go rouge

By now, you've probably heard about Sarah Palin's new book, Going Rogue: An American Life, which hit the shelves this week. Skip that. Instead, I'm picking up Going Rouge: Sarah Palin - An American Nightmare, which features similar cover design with Palin rocking that Sarah smile into the future.

The book is the brainchild of Richard Kim & Betsy Reed, senior editors at the progressive magazine The Nation, and is comprised of essays from 23 contributors examining the many of dimensions of Sarah Palin, and what her spectacular political rise means for America:

Sarah Palin has many faces: hockey mom, fundamentalist Christian, sex symbol, Republican ideologue, fashion icon, "maverick" populist. But, above all, Palin has become one thing: an American obsession that just won't go away. I'm posting about this book because of Richard Kim's involvement, and the cover makes me laugh, but also because as much as I'd like to just ignore her, Sarah Palin is one of the most dangerous people in America.
