About the play:
What happens when a prominent Asian American playwright and activist accidently casts a white man as the Asian American lead in his new play? Written by Tony-winning playwright David Henry Hwang, Yellow Face is a fast-paced satire that turns multiculturalism on its head. From Miss Saigon to Wen Ho Lee, the play boldly explores the complexities, contradictions and comedy of the construct of race. Here's a link to a video interview with the playwright: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OdOvAP5QITU

Character Breakdown:
DHH - Asian American Male, 30s-40s
HYH - Asian American Male, 40s-60s, plays a variety of roles
MARCUS - Caucasian Male, 20s- 40s
LEAH ANNE CHO - Asian American Female, 20s-40s, plays a variety of roles
