In 2011 the boundaries of California's legislative districts will be redrawn by the new California Citizens Redistricting Commission. This process is more important than most people realize. Simply put, redistricting is about who represents you in government and whether our communities have a voice.

If people of color don't take an active part in redistricting, our neighborhoods and communities could be divided up and we could lose our voice in these critical decisions for the next decade. This meeting is about how we all can help protect our community from being fragmented in the upcoming redistricting process. For more information, go to the Asian Law Caucus website here.
