my mom is a fob: the book

Wow! This was bound to happen sooner or later. You know I love My Mom is a Fob, a chronicle of "humorous, adorable and loving messages from your fobby mom" compiled by bloggers Teresa Wu and Serena Wu.

If you like it too, then you'll pleased to know that the hit blog is being published as trade paperback book this January from Pedigree Books: My Mom is a Fob: Earnest Advice in Broken English from Your Asian-American Mom.

With a foreword, appropriately, by none other than Margaret Cho. From the publisher's press release:

Kind of a no-brainer, right? The blog's posts are easily adaptable into a really fun, entertaining book full of useful Fobby Mom Wisdom, like how to clip coupons and rape prevention tactics. As second-gen Asian American kids, it's just one of those things you get or you don't. I'll be picking this up.
