cleveland teens charged in robbery/murder of chinese food delivery man

Last week in Cleveland, two teenagers were charged with aggravated murder, attempted murder, felonious assault and aggravated robbery in the attack on a couple delivering Chinese food last August: Teens charged in slaying of Chinese food deliveryman.

Ronnell Polk and Deandre Moore are being held at the Cuyahoga County Jail. Polk's bond is $1 million; Moore's is $500,000.

Prosecutors say the boys shot a husband and wife delivering Chinese food the duo had ordered Aug. 11 to rob the couple.

Hong Zhang, 39, and his 38-year-old wife delivered the food to the Lakeview Road and Whitmore Avenue area, where they called Moore's cell phone when they couldn't find the address, prosecutor's spokesman Ryan Miday said.

Minutes later, Zhang was shot in the left side and his wife was shot in the right arm. They were taken to Huron Hospital. Zhang died Aug. 18.

Polk, 16, and Moore, 17, will be tried in adult court. The most frustrating thing about this is these two are just some dumbass kids. And now a guy is dead, and woman is left a widow. Over what? Couple of bucks and some change?

So sick and tired of hearing about all these delivery murders. Delivering a goddamn tray of Chinese takeout should not be this dangerous.
