Hey! It's 2011, and it's time to meet another Angry Reader of the Week, spotlighting you, the very special readers of this website. Over the years, I've been able to connect with a lot of cool folks, and this is a way of showing some appreciation and attention to the people who help make this blog what it is. This week's Angry Reader is Farah Moriah.
Who are you?
Simply put I am Farah Moriah. My first name is pronounced like Sarah with an "F" or if it's easier to remember, just think "Fake Sarah."
What are you?
I am a lot of things, a human bean (yes you read correctly a bean), a student, an editor, an official entertainment reporter since I was 19, the west coast liaison for Popseoul!, a translator, and an aspiring producer. Currently though, I am a girl that jokingly volunteered to be Angry Reader of the Week and somehow am now filling this out.
Where are you?
Where am I not? This week, I was in downtown LA, Orange County, Cerritos, and all over San Diego. Next week, looks like I'll be in Huntington Beach, Norcal somewhere, San Diego, and all over Los Angeles. Let's just say my poor little Scion sees about a thousand miles a week due to the constant back and forth travel it does between San Diego and other cities.
Where are you from?
I guess you can say I have a mixture of ghetto/white washed upbringing. I'm not quite one or the other. Although my close friends make fun of me now for being somewhat "fobby" due to my inexplicable knowledge of all things Korean, they apparently still see my "ghetto" side pop up every once in a while and have a good laugh.
What do you do?
I am currently the West Coast Liaison for Popseoul!, South Korea's largest entertainment Website in English. I am also a full time aspiring Producer, currently helping my friends with their shorts and music videos some of which are now gaining popularity. Aside from that I am also an experimental baker/cook. Apparently I can make a mean apple pie cupcake.
What are you all about?
I'm all about encouraging others to pursue their goals while still honoring their parents. I'm about being real and as honest as I can be with everyone. Seriously, ask me a question, and I'll try to answer it as honestly as I can.
What makes you angry?
People who squander away their potentials just because they're lazy. People who flake out on you, doesn't your word mean anything now?
Chomping food, tardiness, injustice, intolerance.
People who now misuse the English language taking any real meaning out words that once were considered invaluable such as the word love. You can't say you love a hot dog then turn around and say you love your mom. Is it just me??
