five found shot dead in san francisco home

Oh man. Some terrible, tragic news out of San Francisco's Sunnyside neighborhood, where a five family members -- three females and two males -- were found dead in their home this morning in a possible murder-suicide: Five shot dead in house near City College.

A family member -- a 12-year-old girl, according to SF Weekly -- came home to find three of victims shot to the death. Police found another two when they arrived a short time later. The victims have not yet been identified, but they're all apparently Asian:
A family member arrived at the two-story home at 16 Howth St. around 7:45 a.m. and found three of the bodies, said Police Chief Greg Suhr. Police found another two when they arrived a short time later.

All five victims were adults and members of the same family, Suhr said. It was not immediately known who fired the shots, but police Lt. Lyn Tomioka said investigators believe no suspects are at large.

"This is a very tragic situation, no matter what happens," Suhr said.

The names of the victims - three women and two men - were not immediately released. But software engineer Yingxue "Jess" Lei owns the house, and her friends and co-workers fear she is among the dead.
It's not immediately known who fired the shots, and police haven't yet confirmed that it was a murder-suicide. I'm sure more details will emerge soon enough, but it's an awful situation all around. More here: Family Found Dead in House Near City College This Morning in Apparent Murder-Suicide.
