NPR has posted a "First Listen" preview of Thao & The Get Down Stay Down's upcoming third album We the Common, due out February 5. You can get an early listen to the whole darn thing here, and it sounds pretty kickass: First Listen: Thao & The Get Down Stay Down, 'We The Common.'
To promote the album, Thao is posting a series of funny behind-the-scenes shorts ("almost biopic") on the making of We the Common. Here are the first two, for anyone who's ever wondered where Thao draws her creative inspiration:
