She's conducting a study examining Asian American women's cultural values, race- and gender-related experiences, body image, and mental health, and is looking for Asian American women to participate in an online research survey.

My name is Suah Kim, and I am currently a doctoral candidate at Teachers College, Columbia University. Please consider participating in this online study examining Asian American women's cultural values, race- and gender-related experiences, body image, and mental health. This study is part of a dissertation project sponsored by Dr. Derald Wing Sue and should take approximately 15-20 minutes to complete. Your participation in this study will contribute to scholarly research that will increase the knowledge base focused on Asian American women's experiences—knowledge that may help inform counseling interventions, social services, advocacy, and future research. Participation is strictly confidential and voluntary. This project has IRB approval (Protocol#13-161) through the Office of Sponsored Programs at Teachers College, Columbia University (212-678-4105).
Please note that the requirements to participate in this study are that you:
1) Must identify as an Asian American woman who is of South Asian, East Asian, and/or Southeast Asian descent
2) Are at least 18 years of age
3) Currently live in the United States
4) Are a permanent resident or U.S. citizen
