Angry Reader of the Week: Arden Cho

"Follow your heart and don't be afraid to fail because only through failure do you learn to succeed."

Hey everybody! You know what's up. It is time, once again, to meet the Angry Reader of the Week, spotlighting you, the very special readers of this website. Over the years, I've been able to connect with a lot of cool folks, and this is a way of showing some appreciation and attention to the people who help make this blog what it is. This week's Angry Reader is Arden Cho.

Who are you?

I'm just a girl.

What are you?

I'm a Christian, a performer, an actor, and a singer.

Where are you?

Los Angeles, city of dreams.

Where are you from?

Born in Amarillo, Texas. Grew up in Plano, Texas. Went to high school in Apple Valley, Minnesota. Went to college in Urbana-Champaign, Illinois.

What do you do?

Monday through Friday I'm Kira Yukimura on Teen Wolf. On the weekends I'm performing at shows or speaking at universities. When I'm not working I'm spending time with family & friends, serving at my church, eating good food, making music and attempting to catch up on sleep.

What are you all about?

Live life with purpose and love. Be generous, loving and encouraging. Follow your heart and don't be afraid to fail because only through failure do you learn to succeed.

What makes you angry?

Haters that just hate for no reason and want others to hate with them. To be more specific, bullies, haters and gossipers in the Asian American Community. People who go out of their way to lie and spread rumors to make someone else look bad because they can't stomach anyone else being successful or happy. Basically people that spread hate. Bullies who constantly bring you down and try to crush your dreams by picking you apart. What makes me even more angry is that most of these bullies are people in their late 20s, 30s and 40s. Bullies in general make me angry but once you’ve grown out of your teens, I believe there are no more excuses to intimidate and hate on others, be it to advance in life or just doing it for the sake of. Asian Americans who are focused on bringing others down more than supporting this community are the ones who are hurt us the most.
