Fugitive arrested for double murder of teen nephews

Deyun Shi will be extradited to the U.S. after fleeing to Hong Kong.



A fugitive wanted in connection with the murder of his teenage nephews in Southern California has been arrested after fleeing to Hong Kong. He will face extradition back to the United States.

44-year-old Deyun Shi is wanted on suspicion of killing 16-year-old William Lin and 15-year-old Anthony Lin, who were found dead at their home in Arcadia on Friday. Investigators believe they were beaten to death.

School district claims kid wasn't bullied, hurt himself

First grader Jeremy Tsou suffered a fractured skull, requiring brain surgery.



More on the Southern California first grader who was bullied so severely, he suffered a skull fracture and had to undergo brain surgery. Thanks to social media shares, Jeremy Tsou's story has gained some traction -- over five months after the incident -- and now mainstream media outlets have started to pick up the story.

Parents Say Bullied Boy Needed Brain Surgery

Eli Tsou and Jenny Yang learned their son Jeremy, then a first grader at Baldwin Stocker Elementary School in Arcadia, suffered a head injury on May 19 when the Arcadia Unified School District sent them a "Notification of Possible Head Injury" letter. Jeremy says he fell and hit his head on a desk when another student tripped him.

While the letter said the injury "did not appear serious," it turns out that Jeremy suffered a fractured skull and brain bleeding, requiring surgery.

Man wanted in "bear hug" assaults

Attacker grabbed women from behind in two separate assaults near schools in Arcadia.



In Arcadia, California, police are searching for a man who attacked two women near area schools, giving them unwanted "bear hugs" from behind and performing several pelvic thrusts before running away.

Both assaults occurred last Tuesday morning, less than a mile apart. Both women were walking to or from their cars when the man approached them from behind and forced them into a "bear hug" without saying a word. While being held, the women felt several pelvic thrusts before they were let go.
