Angry Reader of the Week: Leo Chu

"I live for art and beauty so exquisite it hurts."

Hey, everybody! It is time again to meet the Angry Reader of the Week, spotlighting you, the very special readers of this website. Over the years, I've been able to connect with a lot of cool folks, and this is a way of showing some appreciation and attention to the people who help make this blog what it is. This week's Angry Reader is Leo Chu.

Who are you?

Jean Valjean. That's the first thing that popped into my head. Then I realized I misread the question. This is harder than it looks.

What are you?

A lover of fine things.

Where are you?

If I can help it, luxuriating at home in my comfy pants.

Where are you from?

I'm from the most perfect town in the world -- Davis, CA. But everyone thinks I'm Canadian.

What do you do?

I write and produce television and movies. I love bringing into the world what wasn't there before. I also watch hours of baking shows, rejoice when I'm carded, and feel guilty that I see my barber more than my friends.

What are you all about?

I am brought to you by the letter "B" -- Batman, Berlin, Bourbon, Bond, Breakfast, Baking, and Broadway. I love knowing stuff -- like how the French like their crusts refined and crumbly but Americans like theirs flaky. I live for art and beauty so exquisite it hurts. And I really, really heart pie.

What makes you angry?

The ending of Lost. It still makes me mad. The journey was (mostly) amazing. But the destination turned out to be Fresno.
