Hooray! Once again, time to meet another Angry Reader of the Week, spotlighting you, the very special readers of this website. Over the years, I've been able to connect with a lot of cool folks, and this is a way of showing some appreciation and attention to the people who help make this blog what it is. I'm a Korean who didn't become an American citizen until years later. Thank you, mommy :)

Currently in the very clean city of Irvine, California.

What do you do?
The main thing is that I'm a student at UC Irvine as a theater major. I went in with a musical theater emphasis because that's the vocal style that's closest to mine. I wouldn't dare go in as a voice major and struggle singing opera in different languages (although that would be fun.) These past two years I've been forming a community and home here after moving to Irvine for college. I've been on an exhibition hip-hop dance team known as MCIA on campus and also performed in a couple of plays (B.F.E. & Book of Tink.) Last year I worked as a Housing Advisor for UCI by giving housing tours (Walking backwards while talking simultaneously is a new skill of mine) and helping students/faculty find off campus housing. This coming year I'll be a Peer Academic Adviser for the Claire Trevor School of the Arts.
Something I do for fun is upload videos on YouTube. I started doing this after I graduated high school since I had nothing better to do and after years of faithfully posting, it's given me a lot of opportunities to continue pursuing the Entertainment industry.

What are you all about?
I'm all about being myself and representing all that I've known. I grew up in a single-parent home and where I'm from that wasn't very typical. My mom was a dance teacher so I came from a home that was extremely supportive of me pursuing the Arts. I wasn't forced to do anything I didn't want to do and my mom never regulated me like a drill sergeant about curfews or grades. I think that freedom made me realize that I was fully responsible of keeping myself on check.
I want to continue writing songs and performing because that's when I'm the happiest and most liberated. I don't want to ever forget that there are people watching me and looking up to me now especially because of my exposure on YouTube, mainly a younger generation. I may not be the prettiest/funniest/most talented/coolest girl to watch on YouTube, but I have a story and the gift of song to share with them that hopefully they can find common ground with. I have been nothing but myself. Glasses and retainers included.
What makes you angry?
WELL! Here I go: Belligerent drunks, the unfriendly & the cold-hearted, people who don't think before they do or take responsibility for their actions, people who think they deserve service and aren't thankful when being served, when I meet people and all they really want from me is to appear in a video, people who assume I have it made just because I have a good amount of subscribers. Pretty sure I'm surviving off of student loans!
