This little badass is Luke Villaluz, a second-grader with the Norwalk Mad Bulls wrestling program who recently won the Connecticut Cup Freestyle Championship: Young Norwalk Wrestler Adds Another State Title.

Villaluz had his hands full early as he wrestled highly regarded Ryan Finn from Simsbury's Youth wrestling club. Villaluz got off to a slow start in a frenzied first period and found himself in early trouble in the bout. He had a brief conversation with coach Haus in between periods and made the necessary adjustment, as he prevailed with a dramatic match-ending pin over his counterpart.
Haus continued, "Luke remained calm cool and collected, he didn't panic … and in the end wrestled the match at his own pace and settled in for the pin to win the title.
