Daniel Sohn, found sleeping in his car, arrested for impersonating a police officer.



Remember this guy? He was recently caught on camera repeatedly saying "white power" and throwing up white power signs at a group of Black Lives Matter protestors in Hollywood. So here's an update on this piece of shit. He was arrested last week for impersonating a police officer.

Daniel Sohn was arrested early Friday morning in West Hollywood after sheriff's deputies found him sleeping in a car, which was illegally parked overnight on a commercial property. When deputies approached the car, they discovered Sohn wearing a long sleeve shirt with a "LAPD" logo on the front and patches on the sleeves.

According to authorities, the deputies recognized Sohn from his recent "performance" on social media. You're famous, bro. After verifying he was not an officer of any law enforcement agency, deputies took him into custody on suspicion of impersonating a police officer.

This video, circulating on social media, shows an Asian man -- reportedly an officer with the Los Angeles Police Department [EDIT: or, more likely, just a regular idiot asshole civilian in a police t-shirt] -- repeatedly saying "white power" and throwing up white power signs to antagonize a group of Black Lives Matter protestors demonstrating outside of a 24-Hour Fitness in Hollywood on Thursday morning.

Woman sues police for roughing her up in church parking lot

62-year-old Ok Jin Jun has filed a lawsuit against the LAPD, the city of Los Angeles and two police officers.



In Los Angeles, a 62-year-old woman has filed a lawsuit against police officers who she says roughed her up during an early morning encounter last month in a Koreatown church parking lot.

Ok Jin Jun is suing the Los Angeles Police Department, the city of Los Angeles and two police officers.

The altercation was captured on surveillance video. Footage shows an LAPD SUV following Mrs. Jun's car as she pulled into her church's parking lot for early morning prayer service on April 14. Mrs. Jun says the officers followed her after she honked her horn at them because they were blocking the church driveway.

But this was not a traffic stop, and Mrs. Jun was not being pulled over.

MISSING: 49-year-old Carol Ota, last seen November 7

Ota suffers from bipolar disorder and is in need of her medication.



In Los Angeles, police and loved ones are asking for the public's help in the search for a woman who has been missing since last week. Carol Ota was last seen in the Westchester area on the morning of November 7.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department Missing Person's Unit, Ota was last seen in the 12000 block of Juniette Street around 7:00am last Friday. She suffers from bipolar disorder and is in need of her medication.

Memorial service held for fallen LAPD officer

In Los Angeles, thousands gathered at a memorial service to mourn and pay their last respects to a decorated veteran LAPD officer who was killed in the line duty in a traffic accident last week.

Fallen LAPD Officer Nicholas Lee remembered

40-year-old Nicholas Lee, a 16-year department veteran, was killed after his patrol car collided with a commercial dump truck at an intersection in Beverly Hills. It hasn't been determined what caused the crash, but officials are looking at whether the truck had mechanical problems.

Lee, a husband and father of two, is remembered as respected officer and a devoted family man.

Woman says she was assaulted by cop while handcuffed

Kim Nguyen says she was molested by an LAPD officer before tumbling out of a moving squad car



The woman who was caught on camera tumbling out of a moving LAPD squad car last year says that a police officer sexually assaulted her while she was handcuffed in the back seat of the vehicle.

28-year-old Kim Nguyen was injured badly in the fall, and filed a lawsuit against the officer, his partner and the Los Angeles Police Department. She had been taken into custody and placed in the back of a patrol car on suspicion of public intoxication. As previously reported, at some point, she was ejected from the car.

In recent sworn testimony, she said that before her fall, an officer climbed into the back seat and sexually assaulted her while the other officer continued driving.

Woman sues police after falling from moving patrol car

Surveillance video shows Kim Nguyen bloodied and bruised after being ejected from an LAPD cruiser.



In Los Angeles, a woman has filed a lawsuit against the Los Angeles Police Department after being ejected from a moving patrol car and sustaining critical injuries: Woman sues LAPD after falling out of patrol car.

28-year-old Kim Nguyen, a graduate student at Loyola Marymount University at the time, was out with friends last March when she was taken into custody by LAPD officers David Shin and Jin Oh on suspicion of public intoxication. She was handcuffed, placed in the back of a squad car and driven away.

At some point, Nguyen was ejected from the vehicle while it was moving, suffering serious injuries. A downtown building's surveillance camera captured part of the incident on video. The footage doesn't show Nguyen being ejected, but it shows her bloodied and bruised, lying unconscious on the street and still in handcuffs:

Police offer $25,000 reward for capture of "Asian Wig Bandit"



Asians behaving badly... Wig Bandit edition! In Southern California, police are on the lookout for a criminal they're calling the "Asian Wig Bandit," who is allegedly responsible for fifteen armed robberies at businesses across the region: 'Asian Wig Bandit,' who drives a BMW, prompts a $25,000 reward.

The Los Angeles Police Department is offering a $25,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the so-called "Asian Wig Bandit," who is indeed Asian, and earned his nickname because his apparent preference for committing robberies while wearing a blond or black shoulder-length wig.

The LAPD's Robbery-Homicide Division released security video footage of the Bandit in action, and are asking for the public's help:
