Kearny Street Workshop presents Celebrate Your Body 2016

A Body-Positive Fashion Show & Expo Featuring POC Designers and Stylists, March 5



Bay Area! This Saturday, March 5 in Oakland, catch the Kearny Street Workshop's "Celebrate Your Body," a body-positive fashion show and expo featuring POC designers and stylists. This night features the work of eight designers and a lineup of models who represent the diversity and range of bodies mainstream fashion ignores. There will also be performances by the drag troupe Rice Rockettes and folk trio Los Sirenas.

Kearny Street Workshop presents Celebrate Your Body 2015

A body-positive fashion show and expo. Saturday, January 31 at SOMArts Cultural Center.



If you're in the Bay Area, Kearny Street Workshop invites you to its second Celebrate Your Body, a showcase of fashion and music as well as a multicultural street fair that celebrates the diverse beauty of all body types. The event will honor Lynn Chen and Lisa Lee of Thick Dumpling Skin and Project Runway finalist Kini Zamora. It's happening Saturday, January 31 at SOMArts Cultural Center.

Kearny Street Workshop, the nation's oldest Asian Pacific American multidisciplinary arts organization, is now seeking submissions for the 13th annual APAture, a multidisciplinary arts festival presenting and examining the work of emerging APA artists living or working in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Kearny Street Workshop presents Dumpling Wars 2

Saturday, April 12 at the Oakland Asian Cultural Center


Another one for my folks in the Bay Area... Kearny Street Workshop, the oldest multidisciplinary arts non-profit addressing Asian Pacific American issues, is hosting its second annual "Dumpling Wars" competition, bringing a night of fun, flavor and culture to Oakland.
