Hello World, Meet the Racist Torrance Park Lady

And Other Things to Know From Angry Asian America.

"Go back to whatever fucking Asian country you belong in."
Wednesday morning in Torrance, California. An Asian American woman exercising at the park has a run-in with a surly woman who tells her, among other things, "Go back to whatever fucking Asian country you belong in." The altercation was apparently set off over the use of a public staircase, when the woman in the hat got a little too close -- purposely, it seems -- to the exercising woman's personal space. The woman proceeds to vomit an entitled racist rant that will surely launch her into internet infamy. Do your thing.

Proof That Asians Are Not Inherently Good at Martial Arts
Here's proof that Asians are not inherently good at martial arts. In this video, a racist dude picks a fight with an Asian man on the street. It's worth noting that the Asian guy is not up for the confrontation and valiantly tries to get the fuck away from this guy, the aggressor. But at some point he has no choice and puts up his dukes. What ensues is the least impressive street fight ever captured on video... except for the stunning, deeply satisfying conclusion, where Asian man lands his swing and knocks out the dude. Cold. In the middle of the crosswalk. Even then, the fight decisively over, Asian guy is polite as hell, and attempts to move his vanquished adversary's limp body to safety. It ain't gung fu, but we will still knock a racist the fuck out. And be decent about it.

Opera In The Rock Presents Madama Butterfly -- in Yellowface!
For real? How is this still okay? The Arkansas-based opera company will be streaming a recorded version of its production of Giacomo Puccini's Madama Butterfly -- featuring white actors in what appears to be full-ass yellowface makeup and regalia. And get this: Opera in the Rock originally presented Madama Butterfly in May 2019 in celebration of Asian Pacific American Heritage Month "to showcase the struggle and contribution of Asian Americans in our society." It seems this celebration, however, did not extend to anyone going out of their way to find actual Asian actors for this production. This is some bullshit. No, thank you.

Black lives matter. Thoughts and wishes from one small business.
I found this statement on Black Lives Matter from New York City's Pearl River Mart to be particularly eloquent and thoughtful. It's nice to hear these introspective sentiments from an Asian American small business.

"I just take no racism. Get that shit out of my face."

Philadelphia restaurateur Han Chieng suffers broken ankle in sidewalk fight with drunken racists.

A Philadelphia restaurateur suffered a broken ankle after getting into a sidewalk fight with several drunk individuals -- a fight that he says started when one of them shouted "ching chong wong" at him.

Han Dynasty owner breaks ankle in sidewalk fight: 'I just take no racism'

Han Chiang, owner of Han Dynasty in Old City, says he and several employees were outside on a cigarette break Thursday night when they encountered a group that had apparently just been kicked out of 2nd Story Brewing, the pub next door. Chiang and his colleagues were about to go back inside when one of the group yelled something to the effect of "ching chong wong" at them. Chiang called him on it.

"I turned around and said, 'Fuck you, you racist motherfucker,'" Chiang said in a phone interview with Billy Penn. "The guy denied saying it, then his friend Ian jumped in and hit me with a skateboard." Then it was on.

The fight escalated, with multiple people joining in, and Chiang getting his ankle broken in the fracas. At some point, the fight was broken up, and Chiang was hospitalized. But not before skateboard guy and the gang yelled "Fuck you, you Chinese faggots!" as they made their getaway.

Later, Ian Carroll, the guy who apparently hit Chiang with the skateboard, posted a note to Han Dynasty's Facebook page, preemptively recounting his version of the altercation, alleging that it was the Han Dynasty employees who started the fight when they tried to jump him and his friends.

The guy called him a "chink." So he kicked the guy in the face.

Sidney Chan is accused of kicking Stephen Kent in the face after Kent called him a racial slur.

All right. As a matter of principle, I'm going to emphasize that I can't condone violence. But I'm also not going to be terribly disappointed by the news that a guy got kicked in the face after calling someone a "chink."

In London, 20-year-old Sidney Chan is accused of kicking Stephen Kent in the face -- twice -- during a fight that broke out after Kent called him a "chink" while they were leaving a student bar at Imperial College.

Rugby player allegedly broke student's eye-socket after being called a 'chink' outside bar

Prosecutors say the altercation was set off when Chan "provoked" Kent by making a comment about his "1980s-style mullet haircut." (I am absolutely dead serious.) But Chan denies making fun of the mullet. He says Kent was the real aggressor, calling him a "chink" before charging at him and throwing punches.

"I never said anything about his hair," Chan said at trial. "He started throwing punches at me after he fell to the ground after I had pushed him. He quickly got back up and he charged at my group and started throwing punches at me."

In Sacramento, investigators are asking for the public's help identifying the suspects responsible for stabbing France train hero Spencer Stone during a fight outside a bar earlier this month. Police have released composite sketches of the suspects, who are described as Asian men.

Cops Release Composite Sketches in Spencer Stone Stabbing Case

23-year-old U.S. Airman Spencer Stone, who was hailed as a hero along with two friends after they helped stop a terrorist attack on a Paris-bound train this summer, was stabbed multiple times during an altercation with a group of suspects on October 8. Stone was hospitalized with three stab wounds to the torso.

Here are the police sketches of the suspects, based on eye-witness accounts of the assault:

French train attack hero stabbed in Sacramento

Spencer Stone was reportedly stabbed during a fight with "two Asian adult males."

Spencer Stone, one of three Americans who helped foil a terror attack on a French train in August, was stabbed after a fight early Thursday morning in Sacramento. The suspects are described as two Asian men.

Spencer Stone, Airman Who Foiled Terrorist Attack, Is Stabbed

23-year-old Airman First Class Spencer Stone was stabbed repeatedly during a fight outside a bar in midtown Sacramento. He reportedly suffered a wound to the heart and his left lung, and was taken to a local hospital, where he is listed in "stable condition." Police say the attack is not related to the incident in France.

The incident apparently started as a "verbal argument" that ended up on the street and led to a physical confrontation. Security camera footage shows a group of about eight men -- including Stone, bleeding on his shirt -- involved in a fight in the middle of the street:

Man caught on video in Koreatown road rage fight

Police are asking for help identifying the driver who slammed another man's head into the sidewalk.

In Los Angeles, police are asking for the public's help in identifying a man who violently assaulted another man, slamming his head into the sidewalk during a road rage incident in Koreatown last May.

Driver seen on video slamming man's head into ground in road-rage fight

The LAPD has released video footage of the altercation, which left a man with a fractured skull. The incident happened on May 26 at the intersection of 4th Street and Ardmore Avenue in Koreatown.

The video shows two men squaring up to fight, occasionally throwing kicks and punches at each other while a bystander tries to break it up. The fight ends when the victim gets picked up and slammed into the pavement, hitting his head on the ground. The man then grabs the victim by the head and slams it into the sidewalk.

Jinh Yu Frey knocks out Darla Harris in 24 seconds

Ouch. Your face broke my hand.

Boom. That didn't take long. Not much to explain in this video, which they're calling the women's MMA knockout of the year. I don't watch enough fights to know if this is true, but it's quite a knockout. Fighter Jinh Yu Frey kindly introduces Darla Harris to her fist. And then the ground:
