For the past five years, Beatrock Music has consistently released politically-charged, socially conscious and sonically groundbreaking underground hip hop. To celebrate their fifth anniversary, Beatrock is embarking on its first full roster tour of the West Coast, featuring Rocky Rivera , The Bar (Prometheus Brown & Bambu), Otayo Dubb & Equipto, Power Struggle, Odessa Kane, BWAN and 6Fingers.

Music for the people! Los Angeles-based hip hop artist Bambu is known for his provocative, explosive, street-wise lyrics and people-powered music. He's working on his latest full-length album and book, Party Worker, and he's making it happen by putting the power in your hands with a Kickstarter campaign.

Los Angeles rapper Bambu recently traveled to frosty Chicago to shoot the visuals for his latest music video, "Crosshairs." ("Yes," he says, "it was very cold.") It's a hot track, produced by and featuring none other than the legendary DJ Qbert, from Bambu's mixtape Sun Of A Gun. Check it out:
