For the past five years, Beatrock Music has consistently released politically-charged, socially conscious and sonically groundbreaking underground hip hop. To celebrate their fifth anniversary, Beatrock is embarking on its first full roster tour of the West Coast, featuring Rocky Rivera , The Bar (Prometheus Brown & Bambu), Otayo Dubb & Equipto, Power Struggle, Odessa Kane, BWAN and 6Fingers.

Bay Area, time to get down to some kickass sounds... CAAMFest 2014 presents the festival's annual music showcase Directions in Sound. Discover the hip-hop and rock beats from Korea, Vietnam and the Bay.

This year features two events, a Korean Showcase with Love X Stereo, Glen Check and Rock N' Roll Radio, and Here Comes Treble, with DJ Roza, DJ ThatGirl, DJ Umami, Cynthia Lin and the Blue Moon All-Stars, Rocky Rivera and the U.S. debut Vietnam's Queen of Hip Hop, Suboi.

New Music: Gangster of Love by Rocky Rivera

Some new music for you... Bay Area rapper Rocky Rivera just dropped her second full-length album Gangster of Love, available now from Beatrock Records. I was a big fan of her Pop Killer mixtape from a few years back, so I've been really looking forward to this one. Listening to it now and I'm digging it hard.
