Radio host fired for making lewd comments about Chloe Kim

Barstool Radio's Patrick Connor called the 17-year-old snowboarder "a little hot piece of ass."

From Yahoo! Sports: When you're a grown man and call a 17-year-old Olympic gold medalist "a little hot piece of ass," things likely won't end too well for you.

Patrick Connor has lost at least one of his jobs after making that comment about American snowboarder Chloe Kim on Tuesday, when he was on "Dialed In with Dallas Braden," a show on Barstool Radio's SiriusXM channel.

On Wednesday, San Francisco radio station KNBR, where Connor is known as "PCon," fired him.

KNBR program director Jeremiah Crowe told media outlets, "Be advised that Patrick Connor is no longer with Cumulus Media," which owns the station.

Sports writer fired for racist tweet about Indy 500 winner

"I am very uncomfortable with a Japanese driver winning the Indianapolis 500 during Memorial Day weekend."

On Sunday, Takuma Sato became the first Japanese driver ever to win the Indianopolis 500. Which was cool... but not so cool for one Denver sportswriter, who expressed on Twitter that he was "uncomfortable" with a Japanese man winning the storied motor race on Memorial Day weekend -- a tweet that promptly got him fired.

Not long after Sato crossed the finish line of America's most prestigious motorsports race, Terry Frei, a sportswriter for the Denver Post, farted out this ridiculous, thoughtlessly racist tweet trying to somehow draw an unfortunate connection between a Japanese driver winning the Indy 500 -- who says Asians can't drive? -- and the fact that he did so on a holiday meant to honor those who died while serving in the country's armed forces.

Emily Austen, Fox Sports Florida's sideline reporter for Tampa Bay Rays and Orlando Magic broadcasts, appeared on Barstool Sports's "Rundown" show on Thursday, where she proceeded to make a number of racist and anti-Semitic jokes during the 35-minute Facebook Live broadcast.

"I didn't even know Mexicans were that smart... That's fucked up," Austen said, referring to news about a recent high school valedictorian who came out as an undocumented citizen. "I didn't mean it like that. You see, you guys know that the Chinese guy is always the smartest guy in math class."

Yes, your servers are talking sh*t about you.

Restaurant servers enter rude notes about customers... then forget to delete them from the printed check.

A word to rude or annoying restaurant diners: yes, your servers are talking shit about you. In the recent case of some servers at a Chinese restaurant in Virginia, they entered their opinions about a couple of customers into the restaurant's computer system... then forgot to delete them from the printed check. Oops.

Servers trash customers in private note on check — then forget to delete it

Management at the Peter Chang restaurant in Arlington, Virginia apologized to customers who were the recent targets of a server's snark after a Saturday night dinner. On the check, under the notations for customer designation, they were identified as "im a plad asshole" and "i have a small penis."

Two servers had apparently typed the comments into the restaurant's point-of-sale system as a joke to one another, then neglected to delete them before presenting the check.

Controversial prosecutor Karl Price fired after incendiary comments

After a monthlong investigation, the Jefferson County Attorneys Office terminated local prosecutor Karl Price last week for his unprofessional behavior, as well as his deliberate refusal to take responsibility for his actions.

It all started in May when Price, while working a civil case in his private practice, sent a letter to the attorney representing the owners of Hwang's Martial Arts Academy, calling the Hwang family, among other things, "greedy foreigners." Later, Price doubled down and defended his comments, saying the Hwangs could be "illegal aliens" due to their "broken English." He was subsequently disciplined for his remarks.
